Santacon Fort Lauderdale

A large mass of people clad as Santa Claus and other holiday-inspired characters took over Las Olas Boulevard and the Himmarshee night life district in Fort Lauderdale on a recent Saturday night. They were participating in SantaCon, a mix of a Christmas parade, flash mob and pub crawl where participants carol and hand out trinkets.

Costumes included steampunk Santa, hipster Santa, lumberjack Santa, robot Santas, pregnant Santa, pimp Santa and his naughty helpers and a protest Santa holding an “Occupy North Pole” sign.
